About Peter
Peter Osicka, OptiCom Marketing Group Ltd. co-founder and current President & Creative Director, has been guiding the company since 1991. Peter’s unique understanding of both the creative and strategic issues of brand marketing, advertising and promotions, combined with his creative & innovative executional approach, has helped OptiCom solidify one of the leading positions in the promotional marketing industry in Canada. Over the past 20 years, Peter has personally developed many unique, fully integrated promotional marketing campaigns for blue-chip companies such as Nestle Canada, Cadbury Beverages, Ferrero Canada, BIC Inc. and many others.
Peter Osicka attended the School of Business Administration at University of Western Ontario, The Graphic Arts Technical Foundation in Pittsburgh, holds Fine Arts diploma from Fanshawe College and RGD designation from The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Canada and ICOGRADA. Peter is also an accomplished artist in his own right, specializing in fine-art printmaking. He has shown his work extensively across Canada having numerous one-man shows and participating in many group exhibitions. His work is a part of corporate collections at TD Canada Trust, J.A. Whaley & Assoc., The Macdonald Stewart Art Centre, Vidal Sassoon/P&G, House-Sol Art Gallery and Fanshawe College among others. His work has been published in “Canadian Artist in Exhibition” Roundstone 1974, and many other regional and national publications. Peter is a big supporter of up and coming artists, establishing Art in Heart commissions for OCAD art students in Toronto during the late 1980’s. In his spare time Peter enjoys the pursuit of his creative work and arts in general, as well as getting back to playing his cornet.
